Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Mackay, North Queensland, is seeking a reliable Bitumen Sprayer Operator to join our Infrastructure Services - Surfacing Crew. The role involves asphalt work, spray seal, and minor civil projects, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

Based in Mackay, you will work with an experienced crew, travel as required, and join a well-established business that offers above-market rates. Weekend and night shifts may be required to deliver projects safely and on time.

Qualifications

• Requires HC or HR licence and Dangerous Goods licence.
• Willing to work outdoors with travel as required.
• Availability to work weekends and nights when needed.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily tasks in line with company policies and procedures.
• Correct use and maintenance of PPE.
• Reporting incidents, near misses and potential hazards.
• Following and understanding Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
