Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd is seeking a permanent, full-time Asphalt Plant Operator for our Mackay facility. The role focuses on asphalt production and manual labour while operating production equipment.

Candidates with asphalt plant experience are preferred. Training and support will be provided, with opportunities for additional shifts as needed, including nights and weekends, and a competitive hourly rate and allowances.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Be a focused, reliable team player.
• Able to multi-task effectively.
• Hold a current Construction Induction Card (White Card) and valid drivers’ licence.
• Experience operating a front-end loader and/or skid steer.
• Experience working in asphalt plants.

What’s on offer?

Our Infrastructure Services business is seeking a permanent, full-time Asphalt Plant Operator to join the team at our Mackay facility. This role primarily involves asphalt production, including manual labour, and operating production equipment. During busy periods, there will be opportunities for additional shifts, including nights, and weekends. Previous experience in asphalt production is preferred, but candidates from related industries are encouraged. Training and support will be provided.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
