Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Mackay, North Queensland is seeking a reliable Bitumen Sprayer Operator to join our Infrastructure Services - Surfacing Crew. Based in Mackay, you will perform daily tasks, adhere to policies, operate with PPE, and contribute to safe works through SWMS and hazard reporting.

You should hold a HC/HR licence, a Construction Induction Card, and a Dangerous Goods Licence, with a willingness to travel and work outdoors, including weekends and nights when required.

Your Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily tasks in line with company policies and procedures
• Correct use and maintenance of PPE
• Reporting incidents, near misses and potential hazards
• Following and understanding Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Building positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Previous industry experience with a valid HC or HR Licence and Construction Induction Card
• A current Dangerous Goods Licence
• An interest in working outdoors, with the flexibility to travel away from home as required
• Availability to work weekends and nights when needed
