Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a skilled rigid truck operator to support asphalt, civil and quarry operations across NSW. Based at Eastern Creek, you will be part of a safety-first team delivering essential infrastructure with a stable full-time role and competitive rates.

You will hold an HR licence, understand HVNL/CoR requirements, and be comfortable with rotating day/night weekend shifts. A White Card and access to telematics systems are also expected to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • HR licence required.
  • Understanding HVNL and Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
  • Experience with fatigue management and load restraint is desirable.
  • Ability to work a rotating day/night weekend roster.
  • Construction Induction White Card required or willingness to obtain.
  • Familiarity with electronic telematic and fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate rigid trucks (e.g., 10-wheeler) across asphalt, civil and quarry sites.
  • Carry out pre-starts, vehicle inspections and safety checks.
  • Transport materials between plants, quarries and work sites.
  • Collaborate with site teams and supervisors to meet needs.
  • Adhere to site procedures, safety rules and traffic plans.
  • Maintain safety, compliance and CoR obligations.

Day to day you will:
  • Operating Rigid trucks, primarily a 10 wheeler Flocon, across asphalt, civil and quarry sites
  • Carry out pre-starts, vehicle inspections and safety checks
  • Transporting materials safely and efficiently between plants, quarries and work sites
  • Work closely with site teams and supervisors to meet operational requirements
  • Working rotational shifts to support operational requirements
  • Following site procedures, safety requirements, and traffic management plans
  • Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and presentation including HVNL and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations
How you'll connect to the role?
  • Current HR licence
  • Solid understanding of HVNL, fatigue management, load restraint, and CoR requirements
  • Availability to work a rotating roster including day, night and weekend shifts
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card) or willingness to obtain
  • Confidence using electronic telematic and fleet management systems
  • Reliable and professional approach to work with a strong commitment to safety
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Experience driving rigid trucks in quarry, asphalt, civil, construction, or related environments
  • Willingness to learn, undertake further training and develop within the business
