Job summary

Souths Leagues Club in Mackay is seeking a hands-on Bistro Supervisor who can lead during lunch and dinner, connect with the team and guests, and help evolve our Bistro service. You will help implement new service standards, coach staff, and work across Kitchen, Café, Bar and Functions to deliver a seamless Souths experience.

RSA/RSG and Food Safety certification required or willing to obtain. The role covers a Wednesday-Sunday roster with flexibility and a focus on building consistency and

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, including supervising a service team.
• Willing to obtain RSA RSG and Food Safety Supervisor if not held.
• Strong people skills and a guest-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement new service standards.
• Improve order of service and the overall customer journey.
• Train, coach and develop Bistro staff.
• Build consistency and accountability within the team.
• Identify practical improvements to Bistro operations.
• Work alongside Kitchen, Café, Bar, Functions and other departments.
• Understand the wider operational impact of changes before implementing them.
• Help Souths continue developing the future direction of our Bistro.
