Job summary

North Ryde RSL Community Club is seeking a dedicated part-time Bistro & Cafe Wait Staff with supervisory responsibility to deliver exceptional service across both bistro and cafe settings. You will greet customers, assist with menu choices, take orders, and ensure smooth service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends and balance till accurately at shifts’

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a restaurant or cafe environment.
• Leadership experience within the hospitality industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Keen eye for detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work evenings and weekends.
• A friendly, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with menu selections, provide recommendations, and answer any questions.
• Efficiently process orders and payments, ensuring accurate and timely service.
• Serve food orders promptly and in accordance with a customer order and club service standards
• Maintain a clean and well-organised service area, ensuring high standards of presentation.
• Preparing and serving high-quality coffees to customers.
• Maintain well-presented food displays and ensuring items are regularly restocked.
• When required, ensure you correctly collect and return your till. Completing a balance check at the beginning and end of shift. Working with Management if any issues do arise.
