The Royal Sydney Golf Club in Rose Bay is seeking a friendly part-time Receptionist to welcome members and guests and coordinate bookings. Reporting to the Clubhouse Operations Manager, you will deliver a seamless service experience across front desk, dining, accommodation and events.

This role offers 20-25 hours per week, with shifts from early morning to late evening on a rotating roster. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of reception or admin experience, excellent communication,

Set in the beautiful location of Rose Bay, Royal Sydney, one of Australia’s premier private members’ clubs combines tradition with a modern approach to hospitality. With world-class facilities the Club is recognized nationally and internationally for its sporting and hospitality excellence.

The role:

Reporting into the Clubhouse Operations Manager you will be the hub of information, responsible for creating a seamless member & guest experience and delivering exceptional service levels.

This is a part-time role offering 20-25 hours a week, requiring availability to work during the week, weekends and on public holidays (rotating roster) with shifts ranging between5.30am starts to 9.30pm finishes.

Key tasks include:

• Deliver the highest standard of service to members and guests.
• Ensure the Club’s rules and regulations are adhered to including enforcing the dress regulations.
• Assist members and guests with all enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Organise bookings for accommodation, confirming requests prior to check in.
• Perform check-ins and outs for accommodation.
• Organise bookings for Dining Room/Club Bar.
• Remain up to date at all times with the day’s meetings, fixtures and upcoming events in the Green Book.
• Order taxis/ubers for members and guests as required.
• Assist members and guests with purchases in the Cellar Door, and other Reception based retail initiatives.

What does the Club need from me?

• Minimum 1-year experience in either a Reception or admin related role.
• Demonstrated passion for customer service.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
• Intermediate computer skills including word, excel and outlook programs.
• Valid NSW RSA.
• Working rights in Australia.
