Job summary

JBS Australia is seeking a motivated Technical Support Tradesperson for the Dinmore facility to assist the maintenance team and support the Global Talent Program. The role focuses on language translation between Spanish-speaking tradespeople and site leadership and involves training, onboarding and continuous improvement within a large manufacturing environment.

The position is initially fixed-term, intended to support program rollout with potential for future opportunities based on performance

Qualifications

Trade qualification required in Electrical or Mechanical or related trade.
Fluent English and Spanish communication.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, food processing, or heavy industry environments.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to maintenance trades teams.
Assist with fault finding and problem-solving on production equipment.
Support equipment reliability and preventative maintenance programs.
Work with Maintenance Supervisors and production teams to minimise downtime.
Translate and interpret technical, safety, and operational information between English and Spanish speakers.
Aid onboarding and integration of Spanish-speaking employees.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Support maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
Ensure compliance with site safety, quality, and food safety standards.
