Job summary

JBS Australia is seeking a motivated Technical Support Tradesperson for the Dinmore facility as part of the Global Talent Program. The role focuses on bridging language and technical gaps between Spanish-speaking tradespeople and site operations, supporting onboarding, training and cultural integration.

The position will initially be offered as a fixed-term contract, with potential for future opportunities based on business needs and performance, and relocation assistance is available for

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or related trade.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, food processing, or heavy industry environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to maintenance trades teams.
• Assist with fault finding and problem-solving on production equipment.
• Support equipment reliability and preventative maintenance programs.
• Work closely with Maintenance Supervisors and production teams to minimise downtime.
• Translate and interpret technical, safety, and operational information between English and Spanish speakers.
• Support the onboarding and integration of Spanish-speaking employees.
• Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
• Ensure compliance with site safety, quality, and food safety standards.
