Job summary

JBS Dinmore in Dinmore, Queensland, is seeking a Maintenance Shift Supervisor to lead a team of roughly 10 skilled Fitters and Electricians across a large food production facility. This role reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and focuses on safe, reliable plant operation in a fast-paced environment.

You will drive preventative maintenance, coordinate priorities, and work with production to minimise downtime while building capability and accountability across the shift.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Fitter or Electrician.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries.
• Strong people leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing breakdowns, priorities and operational demands.
• Proactive approach to maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of approximately 10 tradespeople.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and priorities across your shift.
• Manage breakdown response and equipment reliability.
• Drive preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
• Maintain high standards of safety, food safety and compliance.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members.
• Monitor team performance and drive operational outcomes.
• Support a positive and engaged team culture.
