SHAPE Australia is looking for a Bid Coordinator in Canberra to drive high-quality tender submissions from the outset. You will coordinate executive summaries, client research, and bid documents to strengthen our market position.

Ideal candidates bring experience in graphic design or communications, with strong InDesign and MS Word/Excel skills, and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines within a collaborative team environment.

As a Bid Coordinator within our Canberra branch, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting winning project outcomes from the very start. Coordinating the delivery of high-quality tender submissions, capability statements, and expressions of interest, you’ll help position SHAPE competitively in the market.

This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career pathway into broader bid or pre-construction roles, contributing to securing new work and playing a key role in the continued success and growth of our business.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage Bid Action Plans for delivery of submission requirements.
• Maintain and update Bid & Strategy documentation/information database.
• Draft and edit executive summaries as required.
• Provide client research and background analysis to the bid lead.
• Identify improvement strategies throughout the bid process.
• Create dynamic opportunities and maximise the customer experience.

What you’ll bring

You are organised and detail oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You take pride in your work and bring a collaborative approach when working across teams to deliver successful submissions.

• Experience in a Graphic Design, Communications or similar role.
• Proficiency in InDesign, along with strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, organised approach
• A collaborative mindset and ability to build positive working relationships
• Exposure to the construction industry (preferred but not essential)
