Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, part of the BMW Group, invites you to a 13-month placement year at its Goodwood site. This internship offers hands-on experience in bespoke purchasing, parts & quality, working alongside a team delivering exclusive vehicles.

You will develop relationships, learn manufacturing processes, and be exposed to KPI monitoring, industrialisation of bespoke components, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a 2:1 Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics or a related discipline.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements, prioritise effectively, work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and solve problems.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the confidence to take ownership of tasks.
• Comfortable using data and technology to develop effective solutions and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the purchasing and parts quality activities for a selection of bespoke components.
• Assisting with the industrialisation of those components.
• Developing familiarity with systems and processes to support departmental activities.
• Building an understanding of manufacturing processes through engagement with bespoke suppliers.
• Providing coordination support for the Target Management Process and the monitoring of KPIs.
