Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, part of the BMW Group, invites you to a 13-month placement year at its Goodwood site. This internship offers hands-on experience in bespoke purchasing, parts & quality, working alongside a team delivering exclusive vehicles.

You will develop relationships, learn manufacturing processes, and be exposed to KPI monitoring, industrialisation of bespoke components, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a 2:1 Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics or a related discipline.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements, prioritise effectively, work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and solve problems.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the confidence to take ownership of tasks.
• Comfortable using data and technology to develop effective solutions and drive continuous improvement.

The Bespoke Purchasing and Parts Quality department are responsible for the selection and management of external suppliers to support the bespoke business. Relying on close working relationships with internal/external partners alike, the department is tasked with delivering new and innovative bespoke products from a specialist low volume supply base. It takes people with an uncompromising perception of quality and exceptional business acumen to procure the most suitable materials for each of our unique bespoke vehicles.

• Studying towards a 2:1 Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
• Strong relationship building skills with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt your approach to changing requirements, prioritise effectively, work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and solve problems.
• An excellent team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office, with confidence using digital tools and technology.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the confidence to use your own initiative and take ownership of tasks.
