Job summary

AusNet Services Ltd in Benalla (north-east Victoria) seeks a proactive Building Services Coordinator to oversee facilities across multiple sites, ensuring safety, compliance and reliable operations for employees and contractors.

Reporting to the Building Services Manager, you’ll coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, work with contractors and internal stakeholders, resolve issues efficiently and improve the workplace experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or building services.
• High level of customer service.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings (beneficial).
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Sound Microsoft Office and intermediate computer skills.
• Experience with SAP and Rapid Global is ideal but not essential.
• Fleet management experience (not essential).
• Current Victorian driver’s licence and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and tracking planned preventative maintenance programs.
• Managing workplace maintenance requests and ensuring they are completed within agreed service levels.
• Overseeing contractors and supporting workplace health and safety compliance.
• Coordinating services including mechanical, electrical, fire, lifts, hydraulics, cleaning, plant and equipment.
• Processing invoices and monitoring operational and capital budgets.
• Supporting building compliance, safety programs and annual site audits.
• Coordinating Emergency Wardens and First Aiders across allocated sites.
• Managing maintenance and capital projects from planning through to completion.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships and providing responsive customer service.
