The team delivers Psychology, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Behavioural Therapy, and Physiotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
The Behavioural Support Practitioner needs to be a registered NDIS Behavioural Support Practitioner. You will be responsible for providing evidence-based behavioural assessment and intervention to clients across the lifespan, with a focus on enhancing quality of life, safety, and participation in daily activities. This is a hybrid role based in the Greater Newcastle Area, combining on-site work in clinic, school, home, and community settings with some work-from-home flexibility for planning, documentation, and telehealth sessions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting functional behavioural assessments, developing and implementing behaviour support plans, and coaching families, caregivers, and support staff in positive behaviour support strategies. The practitioner collaborates closely with ECM’s multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated service delivery, attends case conferences, and contributes to ongoing service improvement. They also maintain accurate records, meet reporting and compliance requirements, and participate in professional development and supervision to uphold high clinical standards.
