Job summary

Caringa is seeking a registered Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner to work with clients across ages, families, and teams. The role blends clinical expertise with compassionate, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary setting.

You will develop and implement behaviour support plans, engage in ongoing professional development, and contribute to improving quality of life for people with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing functional assessments and behaviour support plans.
• Extensive knowledge of positive behaviour supports principles and best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and teams.
• Current registration to practice as a Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner per NDIS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement positive behaviour support plans across age groups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients and families.
• Manage complex cases and diverse presentations.
• Contribute to client-centred, strengths-based service delivery.
