Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Experience working with individuals with challenging behaviours.
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and evidence-based interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify the root cause of challenging behaviours.
• Develop and implement behaviour support plans tailored to individual needs.
• Provide training and support to clients, families, and caregivers on behaviour management techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust support plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and interventions.
• Attend team meetings and participate in case conferences as required.
