Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions in Canberra is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. You will conduct assessments, develop Behaviour Support Plans and deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support interventions.

You will provide support in home, community and school settings for children, adolescents and adults, collaborating with families, carers and other professionals to improve quality of life and community participation.

Qualifications

• Current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration (Proficient level or above).
• Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or in a similar behavioural support role.
• Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support frameworks.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration (Proficient level or above)
• Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or in a similar behavioural support role
• Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support frameworks
• Experience conducting assessments and developing Behaviour Support Plans
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
• A calm, patient and solution-focused approach
