Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions is seeking an experienced Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner to advance clinical excellence while mentoring clinicians and shaping education across Australia.

The role combines clinical practice with education, leadership, and a nationwide impact, with a hybrid work model across multiple clinics and ongoing professional development. You will influence practice and contribute to evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Proficient BSP registration required.
• Extensive experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support under the NDIS.
• Strong clinical reasoning and BSP expertise.
• Experience mentoring, supervising or educating clinicians.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Current driver’s licence and access to own vehicle.
• Flexibility to travel between clinics and training locations.
• Proven ability to meet clinical and service KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop online professional development courses for our education platform.
• Deliver face-to-face workshops and training programs.
• Provide individual mentoring and clinical coaching.
• Deliver specialist supervision within your area of expertise.
• Maintain a clinical Behaviour Support caseload (24 billable hours per week).
• Collaborate with industry leaders and contribute to evidence-based practice.
• Support ongoing growth and capability of Behaviour Support Practitioners.

About The Role

This newly created role offers the opportunity to influence Behaviour Support practice both within Optimum Health Solutions and across the broader Allied Health industry.

You’ll

Areas of Expertise

We're seeking Behaviour Support Practitioners with advanced knowledge in one or more of the following:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Neurodiversity
• Trauma-Informed Practice
• Paediatrics and Early Childhood Intervention (ECI)
• Mental Health

About You

To Be Successful, You’ll Have

• Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner registration
• Extensive experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support services under the NDIS

• Experience mentoring, supervising or educating clinicians
