Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join a growing multidisciplinary team across NSW. You will conduct assessments, develop Behaviour Support Plans and deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support interventions to children, adolescents and adults with complex needs.

Join a team that collaborates with families, carers and schools, with a focus on meaningful outcomes, independence and community participation through evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• NDIS BSP registration at Core level or higher.
• Experience as a BSP or in a similar behavioural support role.
• Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support frameworks.
• Experience conducting assessments and developing Behaviour Support Plans.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing multidisciplinary team.

In This Role, You Will

• Conduct behavioural support assessments
• Develop high-quality Behaviour Support Plans

• Provide support in clinic, home, community and school environments
• Work with children, adolescents and adults with complex support needs
• Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators and other stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration (Core level or above)
• Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or in a similar behavioural support role
• Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support frameworks
• Experience conducting assessments and developing Behaviour Support Plans
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
• A calm, patient and solution-focused approach
• A genuine passion for supporting people with disability and their families
