Job summary

CatholicCare Sydney is seeking a Behavioural Support Practitioner to provide evidence-informed behavioural support for children aged 5-11 and their families. Based in Sydney's Inner West, you will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering community, home, school and office-based services.

You will conduct assessments, develop plans, and coach families using trauma-informed, family-centred approaches to improve emotional regulation and social outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Behavioural Science, Human Services or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-informed behavioural support to children 5-11 years and families.
• Conduct behavioural assessments to identify contributing factors.
• Develop, implement, monitor and review individualised plans.
• Support children to develop social skills, emotion regulation and resilience.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and families to strengthen parenting.
