Job summary

Hyatt Regency Sydney is seeking a part-time Bartender for Lobby Lounge, located adjacent to Darling Harbour in Sydney's CBD. You will craft wine, beers, spirits, cocktails and coffees, delivering warm hospitality in a casual, elegant space.

Ideal candidates have bar service experience, strong cocktail knowledge, and NSW RSA. You must be able to work a rotating 7-day roster and have full working rights in Australia. RSA and roster flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in bar service within a hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Barista skills are advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
• Must hold NSW RSA certification and have full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wine, beers, spirits, cocktails and coffees.
• Engage guests and provide friendly, professional service in Lobby Lounge.

Located in the heart of the hotel, Lobby Lounge offers a place for old friends and new to connect and relax. This venue is an intimate, casual and elegant space, which pays homage to the harbour side location of the hotel.

Our Bartender in Lobby Lounge is an individual who is passionate about their craft and wishes to move into a vibrant and dynamic working environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the service and preparation of wine, beers, spirits, cocktails and coffees. With the opportunity to develop cocktails using unique ingredients and methods, there is always something to learn in this role.

Our Ideal Candidate will possess:

• Previous bar and service experience in a similar environment
• A strong knowledge of classic cocktails
• Barista skills is advantageous
• The ability to work autonomously and thrive in a dynamic environment
• Availability to work to a rotating, 7 day roster (including daytime, evening and weekend shifts)
