Seventy Eight on Rundle in Kent Town is seeking an experienced Barista / Duty Manager to join our busy cafe and wine bar. You will prepare exceptional coffee, manage the machine during peak times, and help lead daily operations with a focus on service excellence.

You’ll oversee staff, support customer relationships, handle cash at opening/closing, and assist with stock, while upholding food safety and presentation standards. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.

Qualificações

• Experience as a barista in a busy, high-volume cafe is essential.
• Strong coffee knowledge and latte art skills.
• Previous supervisory or duty management experience is highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing consistently high-quality coffee in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Confidently managing the coffee machine during busy periods.
• Overseeing daily cafe operations and ensuring smooth service.
• Leading, motivating and supporting team members.
• Providing exceptional customer service and building relationships with regular customers.
• Opening and closing the cafe, including cash handling and daily procedures.
• Assisting with stock control, ordering and maintaining presentation standards.
• Ensuring food safety, cleanliness and workplace procedures are followed.
• Supporting the owner with the day-to-day running of the business.
