Job summary

Seventy Eight on Rundle in Kent Town is seeking an experienced Barista / Duty Manager to join our busy cafe and wine bar. You will prepare exceptional coffee, manage the machine during peak times, and help lead daily operations with a focus on service excellence.

You’ll oversee staff, support customer relationships, handle cash at opening/closing, and assist with stock, while upholding food safety and presentation standards. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista in a busy, high-volume cafe is essential.
• Strong coffee knowledge and latte art skills.
• Previous supervisory or duty management experience is highly regarded.

About you

• Previous experience as a barista in a busy, high-volume cafe is essential
• Strong coffee knowledge and excellent milk texturing and latte art skills
• Previous supervisory or duty management experience is highly regarded
• Confident working independently and making decisionsExcellent communication and leadership skills
• A positive, friendly attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure and work efficiently
• Reliable, punctual and willing to jump in wherever needed
