Job summary

Applejack Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Barback to join Opera Bar on Sydney's iconic hospitality stage. You will keep the bar stocked, support bartenders during peak service, and help maintain a clean, inviting setup.

This role offers growth through ongoing training, a supportive team culture, and the chance to earn great tips. We value work-life balance and a vibrant, inclusive team environment on a busy waterfront venue.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barback in fast-paced hospitality.
• Ability to support bartenders during busy periods.
• Maintain clean and well-organised bar stations.
• Follow hygiene, safety and venue procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar fully stocked with glassware, ice, garnishes and beverages.
• Support bartenders throughout busy service periods.
• Collect, clean and polish glassware.
• Maintain clean, organised and presentable bar stations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure seamless service.
• Follow all hygiene, safety and venue procedures.

• Experienced Barbacks confident in keeping the bar fully stocked with glassware, ice, garnishes and beverages.
