Job summary

Hyatt Regency Sydney is seeking an experienced Full-Time Bar Team Leader to join our busy venues on Sussex Street. You will lead the bar team, deliver exceptional guest experiences and work closely with the Bar Manager to maximise service quality and profitability.

The ideal candidate has previous bar and floor experience, proven leadership, excellent cocktail knowledge, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bar and floor experience in a similar environment.
• Experience leading and coaching a team.
• Strong knowledge of classic and signature cocktails.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a high paced environment.
• Professional customer service.
• Excellent presentation and grooming.
• Strong communication skills.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Current RSA.
• Must be available to work on a flexible, rotating roster, including nights and weekends.

Located in the heart of the hotel, Lobby Lounge offers a place for old friends and new to connect and relax. An intimate space wrapped in nautical rope, Lobby Lounge pays homage to the harbourside location while exuding a casual elegance.

Our ideal Bar Team Leader is someone who has a passion for their craft and can effectively cascade their knowledge and experience on to the wider bar team. They will work closely with the Bar Manager to maximise profitability with minimal cost, whilst achieving a high standard of service and maximum guest satisfaction.
