Job summary

Rainbow Beach Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a capable Bar Supervisor to oversee daily bar operations at Rainbow Beach, QLD. You will manage bar staff, ensure RSA compliance, sustain stock levels, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising bar staff and coordinating service teams.
• RSA certification and knowledge of Queensland liquor laws.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage rosters, attendance and daily operations.
• Attention to hygiene, safety, and stock control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate bar staff, including bartenders, bar attendants and other service team members
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally
• Assist with staff rostering, shift allocation, attendance and daily operational requirements
• Train, guide and support new and existing staff in bar service procedures
• Ensure alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are prepared and served to the required standards
• Monitor stock levels, manage beverage inventory and assist with ordering supplies
• Conduct regular stocktakes and minimise wastage, breakages and stock losses
• Ensure the bar is clean, organised and maintained in accordance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and hygiene requirements
• Ensure compliance with Queensland liquor licensing laws, responsible service of alcohol (RSA) requirements and venue policies
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, EFTPOS transactions and end-of-shift reconciliations
