Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years minimum in bar and restaurant management.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and hospitality POS.
• Familiar with TAB facilities and Pokie machines.
• Able to work as part of a team and deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct bar operations on shift.
• Train, support and monitor quality and service standards for staff.
• Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of bar and restaurant area.
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws and company policies at all times.
• Completion of all paperwork in a timely, consistent and accurate manner.
• Manage deliveries on shift.
• Manage TAB and gaming procedures and compliance.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of check-in/check-out for Pub's accommodation.
• Manage security and incident reporting where appropriate.
• Manage entertainment relationships on-site.
• Manage function bookings, bistro reservations to ensure customer experience is foremost.
• Handle end of day cash reconciliation, till management with accuracy and accountability.
• Manage lock up procedures.
