Job summary

Ovolo Hotels in Australia is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to lead our Monster Kitchen and Bar team. You will own the bar, design and implement training, and work with the F&B General Manager to run a smooth operation on a 7-day rotating roster.

We’re looking for a hands-on professional with at least 3 years in bar roles, capable of managing stock, coordinating orders, maintaining cleanliness and presentation, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a bar professional.
• Confident in stock management, orders coordination, and keeping the bar organised.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation, and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day bar operations and ensure shifts are staffed and effectively managed.
• Oversee bar operations to maximise efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery.
• Design and deliver on- and off-the-job training initiatives regularly.
• Maintain high standards of operations, procedures and service.
• Develop and communicate beverage standards and procedures across the team.
• Monitor service standards and manage performance where needed.
• Control billing procedures, floats and cash handling.
• Oversee beverage selection and regular stock takes to meet cost targets.
