Job summary

The Inglewood Hotel in Australia seeks a vibrant, full-time Bar Manager to lead a friendly team and deliver superior guest experiences. You will manage shifts, mentor staff, and ensure accurate cash handling while showcasing wine knowledge and bar skills.

The role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for development, a mix of shifts including days and nights, and a strong team culture. Experience in sports venues is preferred.

Qualifications

• Exceptional cash handling skills and accurate reconciliation.

• Demonstrated knowledge of wine (local and imported).

• Experience in a sporting venue and basic TV/AV knowledge.
• Experience using H&L and basic barista skills.

Responsibilities

• Train staff in bar skills including beer taping, drinks and cocktails.

To be successful you must have:

• Exceptional cash handling skills, including the ability to reconcile cash/EFTPOSterminals with accuracy.
• The ability to managea shift in a fast-paced environment and maintain staff motivation& initiative levels during non-service periods.
• An outgoing and friendly personality.
• A minimum of 2yearsrelevant experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of wine (local& imported).
• The ability to demonstrate skills & knowledge,& train staff in Bar Tending Skills (Tap Beer, Service, Cocktail Making).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to develop & maintain relationships with our regular friendly locals.

• Experience working within a sporting venue.
