Job summary

Seven Mile Bar and Bistro in Balcatta, Western Australia, seeks an experienced Venue Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a team, and drive growth.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong financial acumen, marketing initiative, and a passion for guest experiences. National Police Check and WA Approved Manager’s Certificate preferred; right to work in Australia required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in a venue management role within hospitality.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in managing venue budgets and KPIs.
• Proven track record in driving sales and implementing successful marketing strategies.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
• Working knowledge of liquor licensing, health, and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for the hospitality industry and the Seven Mile brand.
• Must be able to pass a National Police Check and have the right to work in Australia.
• Experience with POS systems and venue management software (e.g., H&L, Nowbookit, Tanda).
• Demonstrated experience in stock control and inventory management systems.
• Must hold a current Western Australian Approved Manager’s Certificate (MLO)
