ALH Hotels is seeking a Bar & Gaming Attendant for the Old Sydney Hotel in Queensland. This casual role focuses on welcoming guests, delivering warm and authentic service, and supporting the gaming team with a friendly, energetic approach.

You will work on the floor, recommend drinks, and ensure the venue’s high standards from opening to close. A background in gaming is a plus and flexibility is valued for shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Need to provide friendly, welcoming service to guests.
• Be a team player and support the gaming and wagering team when needed.
• RSA (liquor licensing) and RSG are current requirements and flexibility in availability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the floor, engaging with guests and ensuring a memorable visit.
• Recommend drinks and share product knowledge to guests.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain upbeat energy throughout shifts.

To be suitable for this role, you'll be motivated to comply with Responsible Service of Alcohol and Gaming regulations. Sound like a good fit? Game on!

A day in the life of a Bar & Gaming Attendant:

Be the face of the floor, connecting with guests and making sure every visit is a memorable one.

Share your passion for our products and recommend the perfect drink to make a guest's day.

Deliver top-notch customer service and make every interaction fun and memorable.

From the first pour of the day to the final lock-up, you'll be on the front lines, making sure our standards are sky-high and the experience is one to remember.

Help the gaming and wagering team when needed and legally able

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

You're a natural at making people feel welcome and have a knack for the little details.

You're a team player who is motivated to create magic for both guests and teammates.

You have a current RSA, RSG and flexible availability.

Some gaming experience or willingness to learn would also be an asset.
