Job summary

Union Hotel in Sydney invites an experienced hospitality leader to oversee day-to-day operations of our pub, food, drinks, bottle shop and live music venue.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll lead and coach a small team, manage labour, payroll and costs, and drive service standards across all areas while maintaining a welcoming guest experience. Flexible 30–38 hours/week with Friday/Saturday nights required.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in premium restaurants, bars or high-volume venues.
• Ability to manage labour, payroll and beverage costs.
• RSA & RCG NSW certificates and full Australian working rights.
• Flexible and capable of step-up into venue ownership in absence of senior management.

Responsibilities

• Manage busy service periods with confidence.
• Take ownership of the venue in the absence of senior management.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of the venue.
• Manage labour, payroll and beverage costs.
• Stock control, ordering and rostering.
• Collaborate on creative promotions with the team and community.
