Job summary

Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour, part-time Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, invites a hands-on hospitality leader to steer our bar, restaurant and conferencing operations. You’ll coach teams, craft cocktails, ensure exceptional service and guest experiences while working across a dynamic venue.

You’ll lead on the floor, support events, manage rostering and stock, and collaborate with kitchen and sales teams. Unrestricted Australian working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a hotel/bar/venue or hospitality setting.
• Strong beverage knowledge across wine, spirits, cocktails and coffee.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Hands-on leader focused on guest service and operations.
• Solid commercial awareness including labour and stock controls.
• Current RSA certification is required.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Flexible availability across a rotating 7-day roster (evenings, weekends, public holidays).
• Unrestricted Australian working rights with no sponsorship requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day bar and beverage operations across the venue.
• Drive exceptional guest experiences and service standards.
• Coach, mentor and develop Food & Beverage team members.
• Support restaurant, bar, room service and conferencing operations.
• Manage guest feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and care.
• Assist rostering, labour management and team performance.
• Maintain beverage quality, presentation and service consistency.
• Support stock control, ordering, inventory management and stocktakes.
• Collaborate with Kitchen, Front Office and Sales to deliver events and functions.
• Contribute ideas to improve service, revenue and efficiency.
