Job summary

CSC Group in Queensland's Morayfield is seeking energetic Bar and TAB Attendants to join our newly renovated Sports Bar. Bring a bright personality, love talking to customers, and deliver outstanding service during busy sporting events.

You will handle bar service, assist TAB operations, create a lively atmosphere, and work with a team to keep shifts running smoothly. RSA/RSG certification is preferred, and flexible availability including evenings and weekends is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous bar experience and ability to serve beverages.
• Excellent communication and a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Willing to obtain RSA/RSG certification if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level customer service in a busy sports bar.
• Serve beverages efficiently and maintain bar standards.
• Assist TAB enquiries and betting transactions when requested.

What to Expect!

Outstanding Customer Service: Welcome members and guests with a genuine smile, a friendly attitude and a can-do approach. Create a positive experience that keeps people coming back!

Bar Service: Put your bar experience to work preparing and serving beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards and keeping the good times flowing.

TAB Operations: Assist customers with TAB enquiries and betting transactions, where authorised, while helping create a welcoming and enjoyable sports bar experience.

Creating an Atmosphere: Bring energy and enthusiasm to the newly renovated Sports Bar. Engage with customers, build rapport and help create a lively, welcoming environment.

Teamwork: Work closely with your colleagues to keep service flowing during busy periods. Be someone your teammates can count on, jump in where needed and keep a positive attitude under pressure.

Keeping It Spotless: Take pride in your workplace by maintaining clean, tidy and well-presented bar and service areas.

Working Hard: Hospitality can be fast-paced, and we need people who are ready to stay active, take initiative and get the job done without losing their smile!

You’re someone who brings sunshine to the room! You have a naturally bright, happy personality, love interacting with people and understand that great customer service is about more than simply taking an order.

You are also hardworking, reliable and motivated. You don’t shy away from a busy shift, you take pride in doing things properly, and you’re always willing to lend a hand to your team.

A vibrant, friendly personality and a genuine passion for customer service.

Previous bar experience and confidence serving a range of beverages.

TAB experience and an understanding of TAB operations.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of customers.

A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.

The ability to stay calm, organised and efficient during busy periods.

A team-first mindset and a willingness to go the extra mile.

A well-presented appearance and pride in maintaining high standards.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and sporting events.

A current RSA and RSG, or a willingness to obtain the required qualifications.
