Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte ltd is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with banking/financial services background. You will design automated tests for web services (REST/SOAP/XML), perform API testing, and implement automation using Selenium, Cucumber, SpecFlow, and JMeter.

Strong programming skills (C#, Java, or JavaScript) and experience with Kafka are required. Responsibilities include end-to-end testing, observability, and collaboration with developers and business analysts to ensure quality

Qualifications

• 7+ years in QA automation with banking domain experience
• Strong knowledge of web services and API testing (REST/SOAP/XML)
• Experience with test automation tools: Selenium, Cucumber, SpecFlow, JMeter
• Hands-on programming in C#, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with messaging platforms like Kafka and modern observability practices
• AWSCertified or AzureCertified preferred
• Ability to work in Agile development teams and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated tests for web services (REST/SOAP/XML) and API-based apps in banking
• Execute and maintain tests for functional, regression, performance, and API testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design test strategies and ensure coverage
• Use Selenium, Cucumber, SpecFlow, and JMeter for functional and performance testing
• Implement observability to monitor health and performance of banking applications
• Identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution
• Maintain and update test scripts for new features and changes
