Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in designing and executing tests across web, API and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to generate test cases, scenarios, and data from business requirements.
• Utilize GenAI tools to accelerate test design, regression suite creation, and exploratory testing.
• Validate front-end and back-end functionality including REST APIs, databases, and service integrations.
• Execute automated and manual tests and maintain test documentation and artifacts.
• Analyze results to identify root causes and distinguish defects from environment or script issues.
• Build reusable, scalable test automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with BAs, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure coverage.
• Log, track, and resolve defects in defect management tools.
• Apply AI-driven techniques for test optimization and risk-based testing.
• Report progress, quality metrics, and risks in stand-ups and reviews.
• Participate in functional, integration, regression, UI, API, database, and end-to-end testing.
