Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Senior Test Analyst (Automation) to contribute to a major core technology upgrade in Payments Settlements. You will drive automation framework optimisation, update and create automated scripts, and ensure interfaces perform as expected in a high-stakes environment.

We require hands-on experience with Selenium‑Java, build tools (Maven/Gradle), version control (GitLab/SVN) and CI tools (Azure DevOps/Jenkins).

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and source control systems (GitLab, SVN)
• Experience with CI tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) in automation
• Strong experience with Selenium-Java for automation testing
• Delivery of test automation frameworks, scripts and tools; knowledge of Cucumber-Serenity is desirable
• Experience with testing tools (JIRA, Zephyr, Database tools)
• Experience planning, supporting and testing functional changes to mission-critical systems
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies; familiarity with CI/CD processes
• Understanding of payment, clearing and settlement systems and related tech
• Strong collaboration with team and stakeholders
• Degree in IT, business, finance or related discipline

• Drive optimization of the test automation framework and scripts
• Update and create automated scripts to deliver rapid changes to PS systems
• Ensure systems, services, configurations, packages and interfaces perform as expected
• Identify, mitigate and communicate risks of deployments to stakeholders
