Job summary

Peoplebank is recruiting a Senior Test Engineer to collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to review requirements, craft and run test plans, and manage defects end-to-end.

The role emphasizes manual testing with 8–10 years in QA and 3–5 years in Capital Markets, plus familiarity with FpML, SWIFT, or FIX. You will report progress and escalate issues as needed in a structured financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of hands-on experience writing BDD/Cucumber feature files.
• 8–10 years of total QA experience with a strong focus on manual testing.
• Experience in Financial Services, ideally Capital Markets (3–5 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies in a structured environment.
• Proven experience across system, system integration, regression, end-to-end, and parallel testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with messaging protocols such as FpML, SWIFT, or FIX is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine requirements with developers, support analysts, and business analysts.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
• Manage defects, track progress, and report results.
• Escalate issues to the Test Lead when necessary.
