Job summary

TRC Group is seeking a technically minded Technical Business Analyst for Banking/Pricing in Sydney. The role focuses on pricing, financial calculations and modelling within a SaaS platform used by major banking clients.

You will translate client requirements into technical stories and collaborate with developers to deliver enhancements. Ideal candidates have 3–7 years in business analysis, with banking/financial services experience and strong Excel/AI tooling skills.

Qualifications

3–7 years of Business Analysis experience, ideally in banking/financial services or related tech environment.
Solid understanding of pricing, financial calculations and modelling.
Experience engaging directly with clients and stakeholders to gather, analyse and document requirements.
Experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot) in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Engage with banking clients and internal stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements.
Translate requirements into clear user stories and technical specifications for developers.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver new features and enhancements.
Develop testing criteria, perform functional testing and ensure solutions meet requirements.
Support pricing and financial calculation functionality across the SaaS platform.
Identify gaps and propose process and product improvements.
Leverage AI tools to improve requirements gathering, documentation and testing.
