Job summary

My Site seeks a Senior Technical Business Analyst for Banking, Cards & Payments. You will lead elicitation, analysis and validation of complex requirements, bridging business and technology teams to deliver clear specifications.

In Sydney or Melbourne, this contract role requires strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and experience with payment processes, schemes and data mappings. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Senior/Technical/Systems Analyst or equivalent.

Contract

Requirements & Business Analysis

• Lead the elicitation, analysis, validation and documentation ofcomplex business and technical requirements.
  
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with business, product,technology and operational stakeholders.
  
• Analyse current-state capabilities, processes and systems toidentify gaps, impacts and improvement opportunities.
  
• Define future-state business and system requirements.
  

Technical & Systems Analysis

• Analyse complex applications, systems, interfaces, integrationsand data flows.
  
• Work with architects, developers and technical specialists todefine and validate solution approaches.
  
• Produce functional and technical solution designs andsupporting documentation.
  
• Analyse API, online and batch interfaces and associated systemdependencies.
  
• Perform data mapping and support definition of datarequirements.
  

Solution Design

• Develop and evaluate solution options in response to businessand technical requirements.
  
• Work collaboratively with Solution Architects and technicalteams to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
  
• Support the transition of requirements and designs intodevelopment and implementation.
  

Banking, Cards & Payments

• Apply strong knowledge of Banking, Cards and Payments processesand technology environments.
  
• Analyse impacts associated with card product, processing,payments and scheme changes.
  
• Support initiatives involving Credit, Debit and Prepaid Cards.
  
• Analyse payment scheme requirements and associated systemimpacts.
  

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technicaldelivery teams.
  
• Build effective relationships with senior business andtechnology stakeholders.
  
• Facilitate communication between clients, vendors, technologyteams and third parties.
  
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear businesslanguage.
  

Testing & Implementation

• Support the definition of test requirements and UAT scope.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst,Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Business/IT Consultant.

• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex systems, processes,interfaces and integrations.
  
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis and documentationskills.
  
• Experience producing functional and technical solutiondocumentation.
  
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitationcapability.
  
• Ability to operate independently and provide senior-levelanalysis and advice.
