Job summary

St George Bank in Sydney's Carlingford Court is seeking a Customer Service Officer to welcome customers, assess their needs, and guide them to the right banking solutions. You will assist with everyday transactions, educate on online banking and our mobile app, and help customers improve their financial wellbeing while adhering to regulatory requirements.

No banking experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, and you will join a supportive team with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

Customer-facing experience is preferred.
Strong numerical skills for handling cash and transactions accurately.
Remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
Willingness to learn banking procedures and technologies.
Energetic personality with a genuine desire to help customers.

Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for customers in branch and create a welcoming experience.
Uncover customer needs and guide them to suitable banking products and services.
Handle everyday banking transactions including cash deposits and withdrawals with accuracy.
Educate customers on digital platforms like online banking and the mobile app.
Identify opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing through tailored solutions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
