Job summary

Simonds Homes Melbourne Pty. Ltd. is seeking a Construction Supervisor to lead residential projects in the Ballarat region. You will oversee home builds from site start to final inspection, coordinating trades, clients and regulators on a full-time, on-site basis.

Key duties include managing trades, ensuring quality, safety compliance, and timely completions while maintaining strong client relationships and efficient administration on site.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising residential home builds or strong trade background.
• Understanding of Australian building regulations and WHSE rules (mandatory).
• General Construction Induction Card/White Card (mandatory).
• Valid driver’s licence (mandatory).
• Solid project management and trade network development skills.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service to diverse clients.
• Strong time management and administrative capabilities.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage trades and build a reliable trade base.
• Foster relationships with clients, trades and key stakeholders.
• Ensure correct building practices and QA systems are followed.
• Maintain quality homes within time frames and budget.
• Enforce OH&S regulations on site.
• Manage trades, suppliers and paperwork daily.
• Prepare and review weekly KPI reports.
