Job summary

Simonds Homes Melbourne Pty. Ltd. in Queensland is seeking a Construction Supervisor to manage a portfolio of home builds from site start through to final inspection and maintenance.

Reporting to the Regional Building Manager, you will coordinate trades, uphold quality standards, and ensure OH&S compliance across multiple sites. Ideal candidates have a strong trade background or experience supervising residential builds, with a General Construction Induction/White Card, a valid driver’s license,

Qualifications

• Experience supervising residential home builds or strong trade background.
• Understanding of Australian building regulations and WHSE regulations.
• General Construction Induction Course/White Card required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Solid project management and trade-network development skills.
• Able to communicate with diverse customers and deliver exceptional service.
• Strong time management and IT/administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage trades; establish a reliable trade base.
• Build strong relationships with clients, trades and stakeholders.
• Ensure building practices and procedures meet standards at all times.
• Ensure homes are built within time frames and budgets.
• Enforce OH&S regulations across sites.
• Manage trades, suppliers, and paperwork daily; track KPI reporting.
