Job summary

Camden Council is seeking a civil operations professional to deliver and maintain infrastructure assets within the local government area. The role focuses on operating civil plant and equipment and contributing to a safe, efficient work environment.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with Backhoe/Excavator, WHS and EEO principles, and hold the relevant licences. This is a permanent full-time position within a dynamic council that supports career development.

• Considerable experience operating Backhoe and/or Excavator with certificate equivalent to LB, LE Workcover licence
• Demonstrated ability to apply WHS and EEO principles
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• OH&S General Induction for Construction Work Certificate
• MR or HR Drivers licence
• Traffic Control Certificate
• Ability to operate plant and equipment associated with road construction/maintenance work
