Job summary

Tynan Motors, a leading Australian multi-franchise dealership and service centre, invites applications for a Back Counter Parts Interpreter to join our Kirrawee team. You will identify correct replacement parts, supply them to customers and workshop technicians, ensuring accurate orders and timely support.

This permanent full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Automotive experience is preferred but not essential, and candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply as a

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts is preferred but not essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Great customer service focus and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Comfort with computer-based parts systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Sales, stock control & administration duties relating to automotive replacement parts.
• Respond to customer enquiries via back and front counters, telephone and email providing product advice and technical parts support.
• Preparing quotes & parts documentation.
• Working closely with our Service team to identify and supply the correct parts, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
• Selling automotive products and services.

About the Role

We currently have a vacancy for a Back Counter Parts Interpreter to join our Parts department located in Kirrawee. As a Back Counter Parts Interpreter, you will sell automotive parts and accessories, identify the correct replacement parts for vehicles and supply them to our customers and workshop technicians.

This position is Permanent Full-Time; Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm

Previous Automotive experience is preferred but not essential. We welcome candidates with no prior experience looking to kickstart a career in Automotive!

About you

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional phone manner
• Previous experience in Automotive Parts - preferred but not essential as we are open to candidates with no experience!
• A passion for all things Automotive is a must!
• Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, be reliable and punctual
• Great team player; ability to work in a team environment
• Able to take instructions
• Strong commitment to exceptional customer service
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong computer skills – highly regarded
• Experience using ERA Power/NET, Pentana and Reynolds software’s – preferred but not essential (training will be provided)
• Current NSW Driver's License
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
