Job summary

Melbourne Racing Club seeks an experienced Azure and Power Platform Engineer to lead development, integration and ongoing support of MRC’s Microsoft environment. You will build and support Power Apps and Power Automate solutions and design the Azure integration architecture connecting these tools with Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs and API Management.

Reporting to the Head of Platforms, you will monitor performance, investigate failures and resolve issues before they affect

Qualifications

Four or more years of experience delivering Azure integrations and Power Platform solutions.
Strong Azure administration experience, including tenant configuration, security and cost governance.
Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse, including data modelling and business process flows.
Hands-on experience building and supporting Azure integrations using Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Hubs, Service Bus and API Management.
Strong SQL/PostgreSQL and/or KQL skills, with experience working with data and complex queries.
Technical experience with Dynamics 365 and/or Business Central, along with broader Microsoft technologies.
Microsoft certifications highly regarded — e.g. AZ-204, AZ-104, PL-400 , or equivalent DevOps/Power Platform certificates.

Responsibilities

Design and support Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse solutions.
Build and manage Azure integrations using Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs and API Management.
Administer and secure Azure environment, including identity, access, resources and cost management.
Manage data flows across Dataverse, SQL databases and business platforms.
Monitor integrations, troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Establish Power Platform standards, ALM and CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and infrastructure-as-code.
Collaborate with Platforms team and partners on system integrations and improvements.
Provide technology support for live race days and events, ensuring systems are secure and reliable.
