Job summary

Melbourne Racing Club is seeking an experienced Azure and Power Platform Engineer to lead the development, integration and ongoing support of MRC’s Microsoft technology environment. This hands-on role builds and supports Power Apps and Power Automate solutions while designing the Azure integration architecture across Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs and API Management.

Reporting to the Head of Platforms, you will ensure reliable integrations with key systems, monitor performance,

Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
4+ years delivering Azure integrations and Power Platform solutions.
Strong Azure administration, including tenant config, security and cost governance.
Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, including data modelling.
Hands-on Azure integrations using Logic Apps, Functions, Event Hubs, Service Bus and API Management.
Strong SQL/PostgreSQL and/or KQL skills.
Experience with Dynamics 365 and/or Business Central.
Microsoft certifications such as AZ-204, AZ-104, PL-400 preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and support Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse solutions.
Build and manage Azure integrations using Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs and API Management.
Administer and secure MRC's Azure environment, including identity, access, resources and cost management.
Manage data flows and integrations across Dataverse, SQL databases and MRC business platforms.
Monitor integrations, troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Establish Power Platform standards, ALM and CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and infrastructure-as-code.
Work closely with the Platforms team and partner with vendors and consultants on system integrations, projects and continuous improvement.
Provide technology support for live race days and events, helping ensure systems remain secure, reliable and ready during periods of peak demand.
