Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Cloud Operations Delivery Lead with deep Microsoft Azure expertise to support secure, compliant, and resilient cloud operations for a Federal Government client in Australia.

You will lead a team and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain availability, manage risk, and drive cost transparency while embedding CloudOps best practices across secure Commonwealth cloud environments.

Qualifications

Must hold AGSVA Baseline clearance and AZ-104 with enterprise Azure experience.
Progress towards or holding AZ-305 is expected.
Hands-on experience with Azure VM, Networking, Storage, Policy, Security Center, Sentinel, and RBAC.
Experience with IaC using Bicep or ARM templates, PowerShell or Python scripting.
Familiarity with governance frameworks and public sector security requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team to deliver world-class Azure services.
Operate and maintain Azure environments for government workloads.
Implement Azure governance frameworks, policy, RBAC, and cost controls.
Provide monitoring, incident response, and proactive remediation using Azure tools.
Automate tasks with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Bicep.
Improve observability and ensure SLAs and compliance.
Drive root-cause analysis and continuous service improvements.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Collaborate with cyber security, governance, and assurance teams.
