Job summary

Leidos Australia is hiring a Cloud Operations Administrator to manage secure cloud platforms across customer environments. You will ensure availability, reliability and security while partnering with engineering, cyber security and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes automation, incident response, and implementing IaC with Terraform, ARM and CloudFormation, along with CI/CD practices. Australian citizenship and active NV-2 clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience administering Azure, AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Experience with cloud networking, storage, compute and identity services.
• Experience managing production environments including monitoring, incident response and resolving complex technical issues.
• Strong scripting experience i.e. PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation and a working knowledge of DevOps or CI/CD tools and pipelines.

• Administer secure cloud platforms to maximise availability, performance and security.
• Resolve incidents, problems and changes across complex cloud environments.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting, IaC and CI/CD tools.
• Strengthen security through patching, remediation and compliance activities.
• Partner with technical teams and customers to deliver resilient cloud services.
